Equipment

This is a pic of the four space rack which is placed next to my amp. The first unit is
the Roland Fantom XR synth, the second is an in and out patch panel and the
third is the IVL Steelrider. Mounted on back of the patch panel is a two input mixer
and power supply. The Power connector goes to the Steelrider remote control which
is mounted on the MSA. Input 1 of the mixer is the steel and input 2 is the synth.
The output of the mixer goes to a Hilton foot volume pedal.
Midi Remote Control
I removed the electronics from the supplied IVL foot pedal and
placed them into this metal "Bud" box. All the controls that
were available on the foot pedal are on the remote. The black
button in the middle switches the MSA on and off allowing
the guitar to be played along with the synth. The knob on the
right is for reverb control of the guitar amp only during synth
play. Other buttons are: Step, Chain, Sustain, Hold, Synth on
off and Bypass. The numbered windows show which patch is
up and the white area in between is the Patch List.

The MIDI Pickup is located to the right of the MSA pickup and
The pickup preamps are shown at the bottom of the picture.
Two MIDI type cables connect to the preamps carrying 6 strings
each to the IVL Steelrider. There is a gain knob on the synth
which is used to balance the volume to the Steel. Both the
synth and the guitar audio run through the Hilton volume pedal
giving complete control over the audio level.

The remote control box is attached to the right front leg of the steel and is easily removable. Cables are connected at the right end of the remote.

The MIDI pickup amps are located just to the left of the changer and is out of the way for playing.

This amp is perfect for the time when ya just can't pack the stuff around any more. I can just barely get my steel in and out of the vehicle.

This little amp weighs 23 lbs and does a great job for the type of venues I play. With its small size I get everyhing in the trunk of my car. I love this amp.
