Berkeley is a generous girl. For Scott's birthday she got him a Pentax Optio. The kind of digital camera that fits exactly inside an Altoid box. True story. That is, in fact, how she wrapped it for him. Clever little girl, that one.
We've had fun taking photos with it. Quite fun. The best part, we think, is being able to delete those pictures we don't want. This is a necessary feature, in my opinion, since you don't always get the picture you were going for but the picture a couple seconds after the one you wanted. In any case, here are some of them.
Let's start with Quintana. Here she is eating some rice cereal and winter squash. Yum. She gags at the rice cereal. Yeah. Who doesn't???

I mentioned a few days ago Tana started saying DaDa. She recently started saying Mommm and MaMa. It also occured to me she's been signing milk for a few weeks but it looks more like a wave--Berkers did the same at first.
Communication on a new level. Yeah!
Here is a common sight. Berkeley holding Tana with love. Tana taking it.

But, I admit, Tana is a very good sport. Here she is as a pillow for Berkeley.

Plus, to see them together kills us. Here's more of them sleeping.

Note the smile.

On the 4th we went to a bar-b-que at Chris and Dani's house. They live on Sauvie Island on the Columbia. Naturally Berkeley had to go see the water. At which point she discovered the "muuuuuud". We had to hose off her feet!

Another rare shot to show there actually is a Mommy.

I've said before how well the girls are swimming. Here are some examples. Well, here is one of how well the cocodile can swim:

Berkeley still loves to swim with her eyes up. She just kinda swims vertically. But she'll belly-laugh and talk and yell while in this position so it's not like she's struggling or anything. Silly girl.

Here's my swimming fambly.

And a swimming Tana. She CAN'T hole her eye out yet.

We're amazed at Berkeley's little body. These pictures don't give justice to her little gymnast/swimmer/runner/rock climber body. But it's amazing!!!

Heehee. Yesterday I made Berkeley a friendship anklet. Pretty funny for those of you who went to high school in the 80s. =-))) She LOVES tying knots she she's been trying to make me one. She keeps saying, "I DO make good knots."

See you. And love to all!
