Computers gone wild
Open Source projects. I started a number of Open Source projects at SourceForge.net, though my active involvement in some of them has waned.- libnjb, a userland library for communicating with the Creative NOMAD Jukebox and other devices that share its protocol. I was Slashdotted for this work way back in 2001.
- libipc, a userland library for communicating with the Intel Pocket Concert audio player.
- pcirlinc, a UNIX library for communicating with the SmartHome PC IR Linc, a serial port driven, IR, learning remote control. With this device and library, I can control our home theater system from any room in the house via a Web browser.
- SpamSense, a mail spam detector for UNIX mail recipients.
- Garmin IMG Format, the only public documentation of (most of) the Garmin GPS map file format. Includes some analysis tools.
