A Northwest Bouquet:
Class Reading
Sunday, November 13
7 PM
Participants from Paulann Peterson's Northwest Bouquet workshop are reading their poems in this event.
In this workshop students learned to critique existing poems and create new ones.
They used a small anthology (yes, the word anthology does mean bouquet, a flower gathering) of poems from Northwest poets to serve as springboards for generating new material. Two segments of their workshop sessions were dedicated to reading a Northwest poet's poems and then writing in response. Join us to hear these talented students read their own poems and celebrate the northwest poets they were inspired by.
