United States Atomic Veterans

Philip Pantoja was with C Co. 1st Bn.Marine Corps Test Unit #1 for Shot Bee.

Craig Hoyt was with the Marine Corps Test Unit #1 for Shot Bee.

Louis Watts was NCOIC attached to 1009th SWS, TSP Shop for AF sampling equipment.

Thomas D. Judd was a Marine attached to MCTU#1.

Walter C Levine was with the Air Police 4935 Air Base Group, Special Weapons Center Indian Springs AFB.

Carroll Jones was a Communication Specialist assigned to the 651st Comm Squadron.

February, 2002--Eugene F. Modert an Air Force Crew Chief for the Samplers at Operations Castle and Teapot has passed away.

Richard Kraske was a Marine in a Howitzer Battery in Marine Corp Test Unit 1 at Shot Bee.

John D. Fatino was in C Company, 1st Battalion, Marine Corp Test Unit # 1 at Shot Bee.

James Ahneman served with the Marines to supply telephone communications at Desert Rock.

Jefe Mendoza served with the 95th Engineer Battalion, Headquarters and Service Company.

Doliver Liptki was with Battery C, 53rd Field Artillery Battalion.

Frank Gunn was with the 573rd Ordinance Co.

David Ellis was an aircraft mechanic on an F-84 sampler with the 4926 Test Squadron, during Castle, Redwing and Teapot.

Don Doyle served with the 95th Combat Engineers at Operation Teapot. He also sent an excellent photo of the detonation of Met.

Jack Spikes served in the Air Force as part of the 4926th Test Squadron, Atomic.

H.J.C. Nottelmann was a Canadian participant at Operation Teapot. His daughter Sharon Morrison sent pictures of his Teapot certificate, a newspaper article and a picture of the Apple 2 detonation. Her father was one of the first Canadian troops to participate in the atomic tests in Nevada.
