Hi -

In looking at the information available - esp. the DOE's web page, I remembered that I was at Desert Rock V. I was with the Camp Pendleton Public Information Office (PIO) as a combat correspondent. We wrote some stories about Marine Reserve Units going through the Atomic Test Training. We were in trenches, as soon as the first shock wave passed, we jumped up yelling some insane thing and ran forward through the radioactive dust for a few yards.
