I just discovered your website and am responding!
I served on the USS
Bairoko from 1952 until it was decommissioned in 1954. I worked in the V-1
Division on the flight deck and received burns from the fallout during
Operation Castle.
I have recovered from Colon Cancer in 1987 and believe it
to be a result of my exposure to the nuclear testing. I would like to
receive more information and to talk with you soon. PLease call me at
