I was a nuclear officer in the Air Force 1950 to 1953. In 1953 was an observer for air drop in Las Vegas. Have suffered no bad results.

Of course I have many stories to tell, if they are not now top secret. After my service during WW2, I was asked to become a special weapons officer. I completed courses at Sandia early 1950.

When the Korean War started we were alerted and 2 days later we were on our way to England along with B29s and B50s each fully loaded.

December 1950 we returned to Sandia. I then became a nuclear officer after schooling at both Sandia and Los Alamos.

While stationed at Barksdale AFB 1953 was sent as an observer to the air drop at Las Vegas.
