Greetings,

I too was on the Rowan from 60 to 62 in the #1 engineroom and was doing the Christmas Island thing. All that I can remember is heat, little water, fishing and chasing Soviet trawlers all over the Pacific Ocean. We crossed the Equator more times than one would ever want and ate more roast beef than the law would allow. The only medical problem I have is that I can't keep my hair from turning grey and the ostioauthritis in various jounts and the fact that I have to fight my weight all the time. I don't see that being radiated is much different than working in a power generation facility for 35 years will do to ones body.
