Task group 7.4 The US Air Force had many different types of aircraft, 130 in all. Their task was, air control, search and rescue, weather, and air transport between Bikini and Eniwetok.

Group 7.5 had 2000 civilian workers, involved in Base logistics and construction and operated the the Boat Pool.
After the Castle fallout disaster, the Danger Area was increased to 400,000 sq miles to afford greater protection.
