Clyde Raynor

Clyde Raynor's daughter sent email about her father's experience.

Date: Sun, 11 Jan 1998
To: pdxavets@aracnet.com
From: Mandy billyjoe@on-ramp.net Subject: 53 Testing

During 1953 my father was also involved in the testing in Nevada. He was a Medic with the 21st Infantry, a Corporal at the time.

After he was moved out of South Korea he was stationed in Japan for a short time then transfered back to Ft. Eustis in Va.. From there he was sent to Nevada for the testing.

He told me of how he was in the trenches and how they had goats, chickens, and pigs that were severly scorched from the blast. He also saw the mock house with the dummies that represented what would happen to humans at ground level. His name is Clyde Raynor and is currently residing in Medford, Oregon.

He does not have access to the net, so I have been doing research for him. We both would be interested in exchanging mail with you.
