Atomic Veterans Photo Album
Nagasaki, September 1945
This is a very poor picture but it shows our marines marching into the city
for occupation duty. Note that they are passing some still standing
buildings which was somewhat unusual. Parts of the city were more or less
protected by hills from the blast.
