I was reading John's (Bakken) letter about Johnston Island. I was the guy he new from V P 17 out of Whidbey Island, Washington. Two of our planes were there for the testing. I'll never forget it as long as I live. I have had many health problems. I would like to know are we allowed to use the V A Hospital or any compensation from anywhere? Are we considered Vets?

My name is Joe Miller. I now live in Arizona. I went to school with John Bakken. Our crew also flew through all the radiation or what ever was in the air. We also stood outside as they shot off those bombs. We lived on barges that were tied up there. I believe we were there for three months.

If anyone can help me with these answers please write.

Thanks,

Joe Miller
