I was on board the destroyer DD Charles P. Cecil 835, which was at the Crossroads tests in 1946, as a gm3/c when I was on board. I got T-shirts from Florida about our bomb tests. I was there for both tests, I am 75 yrs old now. I need to see if any mates were sick from exposure.

A fellow shipmate lives a mile from me he was also on board for both tests. We never did receive any cards or certificates. If there are any out there as that are on web, sure would like to get them, to let my kids know I was there. I got out of navy in 1950, went in 1943, served on a amphibious LCI (g) 404.

I belong to VFW post 2593 in Arnold MO.

Thanks for info.
