It's interesting to find your website about atomic testing. I was a special weapon's officer and initially took part in Operation Hardtack (Eniwetok and Bikini) beginning in about 1957, or somewhere in there.

I was also a pilot, a meteorologist, and a graduate mechanical engineer de Ga Tech, so you see how the USAF "groomed" me for the role. There were so many classified things, that went on in that operation, and they put the "fear of general court marshall" into us so much that I am hesitant to discuss them even today.

I would be interested if you have even run across any persons who may have taken part in that operation, especially involving radio-active fallout, and some of the experiments that were conducted that involved personnel?

I was personally monitored during to 60,s and into the 70's by a medical group de Duke Hospital. I'm now 66 yrs old, and I haven't heard de them for a long time. Guess they figure that if I've made it this far that they are no longer interested.

Please let me hear de you; I live near Durham, NC, and am still working about half time with an engineering consulting firm that I founded in 1968.

Best wishes,
Herb Hill
