My name is Ray Hampton Jr. from Dallas Texas. I used to hang out with John Blackwell (Spanky), I was (Alafalfa).

Anyone out there that was in LOJAWA in 1977, heavy junk? I would like to find out what happened to the old Co., Spanky, Jimbo, Papa John, and Cowboy?

Hopefully I can find some of the old gang, but it has been over 20 years ago and no telling how fried the radiation has been on some of us. As of yet the only thing that I can tell is this old man that I keep seeing in the mirror when I shave. He is not the man I knew when I was in Lojawa!

I was stationed on Enewetak from 12/77 to 6-78, and according to the first team, worked in some of the hottest stuff around. Based in Lojawa, I worked on Janet, Runit & Pearl.

I worked for Sgt. Statton (Pappa John). Base CO for Lojawa was CPT. Apo. I drove Erma, the stake bed that went from Lojawa across the bridge to the next island. I drove the 20 ton dumps on Janet.

Come on you Animals, Prove the Army wrong. Show them you can read and write.
