Keith
I was a participant in the nuclear test series "Buster-Jangle" held in
the Nevada Desert Oct./ Nov. 1951.
If you are interested, I have numerous newspaper articles (w/pictures)
written about these tests that my Mom and Dad cut out and saved from
local newspapers in the New Jersey - New York area. I'll be only to
glad to send you copies of everything I have if you'd like to have
them.
I was in the same Company (C-1/188 AIR 11th Abn. Div. from Fort
Campbell, KY) as Marty Jacek and Richard Batchelor. These two old
comrades of mine have already sent their stories in to you.
I am sending you
an attachment(s) with this message, and the names that appear on this list
are to the best of my knowledge, troopers from C-Company 1/188th AIR 11th
Abn. Div. who participated in the Atmospheric Nuclear Test Series "Buster-Jangle"
in 1951...with the exception of Robert Zeppelin who had been injured and
did not travel with the Battalion to Nevada. I don't believe any
of these old comrades of mine would object to receiving a message from
you, and if any do, you can blame it on me.
