Keith,

I participated in the Plumbbob series, shot Hood to be exact. I was a corporal from the 5th Marine Regiment. Our battalion was assigned to the Fourth Marine Corps Provisional Atomic Exercise Brigade which envolved about 2100 Marines. We were originally scheduled for shot Diablo, but Diablo misfired. We were then rescheduled for shot Hood, which was the largest atmospheric detonation to occur at NTS.

Thanks

Jim Farkas
