Hello, Keith

Yes, I sure enjoyed the video, it brought back memories. I was attached to Bu Med Unit #1 that took care of the animals. I lived on the island of Japtan for about 11 months. We would operate the LCM boats between the islands. I remember the boat shack that had the two life rings on the front of it, next to the boat dock.

Also we would get the site ready where the animals would be placed during the tests. We would help take the animals before and after the blasts. I only stayed for three of the shots as I had gotten too much radiation. They didn't waste any time getting us out and back to the states.
