Subject: Johnston Island

I was stationed on Johnston Island from January 1962 to August 1962. My position was ground radio operator USAF, assigned to AFCS, (det 3 or 7) from Wheeler Air Base, Hawaii.
I worked point to point and air to ground, litte cw and during a shot I was April Weather 3,
(on Johnston Island).
Command was April Weather 1 on board ship. Sorry I can't remember too much more,
except I recall one (mabye more) shots blowing up on the pad.
