George Carr sent email about his duty onboard the USS New York

Subject: Operation Crossroads & CTU 1.2.12

I was on the USS New York until after the tests. I then was transfered to the USS Geneva until 8-27-46, then to headquarters at Kwajalein to CTU 1.2.12 ammunition disposal to unload the ammo from the ships that did not sink. I was with this assignment until 1-30-47. I am wondering if your organization has had correspondence with anyone from this later group?

Thank you,
G.T. Carr
