Hello,

I was at Operation Castle and Operation Wigwam 1953--1957. I was on the YAG 39 and was a trainer for the Geiger counters for Rad Lab.

I am applying for more benefits, I am at 30% disability now. I have lost the feeling and strength in my feet, my hands are losing their strength. My eyes, thyroid, bladder, gall baltter, cancer on my arm, etc.

Yes, I was there.

I have located the film badges that we wore at the test site at the gov. in AZ. under the control of the Bethel corp., They have the records from Radlab that were doing the recording from our film badges from the Castle Operation. I asked for these files 6 months ago but never heard anything since. They promised to do the research because they wanted money for their labor. These records prove we were in a fallout area.

I am by myself now and do not know what will happen to me.

I was honored to serve mankind to help them recieve their Freedom as "God" has intended. In the last 60 years, how many countries did we help gain their "FREEDOM". We all had a part in this, it was a honor for me.

Now let's see how many families we can gain help from the United Sates Government. We served in the military.

May God speed,

Walter L. Banning
Kansas City, MO.
