We were assembled on Ford Island Hawaii and later sent first to Johnson Island and then later onto Christmas Island as a small boat crew...we towed barges using LCM's, Transported supplies from ships to shore for the AEC. We also towed monitoring devices to sea anchorage prior to and after each blast. Witnessed all blast conducted during 1962 at Christmas Island Atoll. Harry M. Bailey USN Ret.
