September 17, 2002--Pat Simoniello served with the 49th Air Rescue Squadron at Redwing

September 13, 2002-- Vincent Cervantes was a Sfc Comm Chief for Hq. Battery, 2nd AAA (AW) at Upshot/Knothole.

September 11, 2002--William C. (Bill) Castan was on the USS Wichita CA45 at Nagasaki in September 1945, has passed away.

August 11, 2002--Mac McVickers was a B-50 Navigator at Upshot/Knothole.

August 11, 2002--James Trammell was a B-50 Aircraft Commander at Upshot/Knothole.

August 6, 2002--57 Years Ago Today In Atomic History: In a single instant, the Japanese city of Hiroshima was blasted to ruin and many tens of thousands of it's inhabitants killed by one US atomic bomb.

June 20, 2002--Leo Cox with the 409th Quartermaster Detachment, Operation Tumbler Snapper, passed away on Wednesday, June 19 th.

June 18, 2002--Eugene Wahl was a RD3 on the USS Cunningham at Operation Wigwam.

June 5, 2002--50 Years Ago Today In Atomic History: Shot How, the last of 8 atomic explosions at Operation Tumbler Snapper was fired.
