May 26, 2001--Jay Fowler was an FT 2 on the USS Boxer at Operation Hardtack.

May 26, 2001--Charles B. Frank, Jr. served Navy Communications Unit #35 and visited Hiroshima in 1950.

May 25, 2001--50 Years Ago Today In Atomic History Shot Item was fired. This 4th detonation brought to a close the firing schedual at Eniwetok for 1951.

May 23, 2001--Harry Rine was a Disbursing Clerk 3/C on the USS Curtiss during Operation Ivy.

May 23, 2001--Charles B. Frank, Jr. served aboard the USS Tanner observing the Russian nuclear tests at Novya Zemlya in the Barents Sea, 1962.

May 22, 2001--Henry A (Hank) White was a radioman first class on board the USS Euryale at Nagasaki.

May 21, 2001--James E. Mc Donald served in V-2 Division and as plane crew captain on the USS Princeton at Operation Dominic.

May 18, 2001--Leland Michelsen a SF1/C, served aboard the LST 388 at Operation Crossroads.

May 15, 2001--Chuck Anderson landed at Nagasaki with the 6th Regiment of Marines. Reunion Info.

May 9, 2001--50 Years Ago Today In Atomic History Shot George, a thermonuclear experiment was fired at Eniwetok Atoll. The third and largest detonation of Operation Greenhouse in 1951. Photo page.

May 9, 2001--Tom Wells was in the V-2 Division aboard the USS Princeton LPH-5.

May 9, 2001--Neil Brown served as STG2 aboard the USS Rowan at Operation Dominic.

May 2, 2001--Joe E. Linn was a navigator attached to VAP-62 at Operation Dominic.

April 22, 2001--Ron Berwick served aboard the USS Merapi at Operation Hardtack.

April 22, 2001--Dick Condy was with the Navy Patrol Squadron Two VP-2, at Operation Ivy.

April 22, 2001--Frank M. Durbin was with HMM-364 aboard the USS Princeton at Operation Dominic.

April 20, 2001-- 50 Years Ago Today In Atomic History Easy Shot was detonated, the second atomic test at Operation Greenhouse in 1951.

Notice: April 19, 2001--Stan Alsing sent info on a November 2001 Operation Dominic Reunion aboard the Princess. A 12 day cruise from Honolulu, stopping at Christmas Island.

April 16, 2001--Dennis P Kolb was aboard the USS Princeton at Operation Dominic.

April 8, 2001--Earl Palmer was an Air Force Ground Radio Technician at Operation Greenhouse.

April 8, 2001-- Robert M. (Bob) Campbell, Jr. Activities of CTU3.1.2 Biomedical Unit. at Operation Greenhouse

April 7, 2001--50 Years Ago Today In Atomic History Dog Shot was the first detonation of Operation Greenhouse in 1951.

April 7, 2001--Dr. Oscar Rosen, past National Commander of the National Association of Atomic Veterans, USN, passed away at 3 a.m. Saturday April 7, 2001 of leukemia. Dr. Rosen was a participant in the Project Crossroads nuclear tests in the Pacific.

March 11, 2001--Bill McGee served aboard the USS Fall River at Operation Crossroads and wrote an excellent book titled Blue Jacket Odyssey.

March 11, 2001--Jim Vasko served aboard the USS Current provided us with it's Crossroads history and has posted a new website.

March 10, 2001--Tomas J. Hanlon was with the 76th Engineer Company (Support) Redstone, US Ballistic Missle Agency at Operation Hardtack.
