PV-S7680 Omnivision Series
S-VHS HiFi Stereo Video Cassette Recorder
Key Features:
- DynAmorphous Metal Heads
- Simply, better picture -- less noise. The reason: laminated construction
and amorphous material of these Panasonic broadcast technology video heads
offer less contact noise than conventional heads and improve the video
signal-to-noise ratio for high-quality picture reproduction.
- 4 Video Heads
- By dedicating two heads for recording and playback in the SP speed and
two heads for SLP, picture quality is improved in both speeds. Added
benefits are noiseless field still, double-fine slow, double-speed playback
and high-speed OmniSearch.
- Flying Erase Head
- The Flying Erase Head resides on the spinning cylindrical head. This
produces sharp breaks when stopping and starting recordings in the
middle of the tape. VCRs without this feature, then the beginning of a
recording has streaks of color that move up and down for a few seconds.
The Flying Erase Heads are very nice, particularly if you are editing
home videos, but also just for recording in general.
