Yep. You guessed it. This is where they come from. This is also where they are more than welcome to go back to. But do they? Nope. Not until the monthly allowance runs out. Mommy's Little Monsters on the loose, living in squats and under bridges to prove how "gutterpunk" they truly are. Talk about your urban decay.

Saw Decline III this evening.  I have to say, it was quite an experience. The kids in the movie were in the audience, and the theatre had more drama than the movie itself.  Had people falling in the aisles they were so drunk and out of it.  Then you had the main gutterpunk in the movie, "Why-Me", sittin' 2 rows in front of us with his yuppy-lookin' date. They had to leave in the middle of the movie, cuz his friends were gettin' too rowdy and hanging all over him kissing him in the mouth.  At the start of the movie, Penelope Spheeris tried to give an intro and give a little 'homage' to the cinematographer, the sound guy and the camera guy.  The punks wouldn't have it.  All you could here was "FUCK-YOU!" and shit like that.  She kept threatening to take their bottles of hard liquor and forties away if they didn't shut up.  The movie itself was ok, in a social-anthro sort of way.  I felt that some of the shots of the "punks" in the movie were gratuitous and exploitative.  For example, there is
this one scenes where she places all of these kids on a bridge and she does these shots of them just looking out into the future.  They are all posed and just stand there.  Then there is this other shot where they are walking across a bridge and you are supposed to feel sorry for them. I mean, I don't think any of that was necessary.  Also the music really sucked.  It was really a bad choice in bands I think.  They could of found better bands but I guess that is what these particular punks were into. I think I will buy this movie, not for the quality of the
