Photographs from Niger

© 1996 William R. Stein

I took these photos while I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger from 1990 to 1993. I served as an agroforestry extension agent in a predominantly Hausa village named Lawai Kaoura Alassane (Birni N'Konni arrondissement). I now work as a transportation planner in Portland, Oregon. I have also maintained the websites for the following organizations:

Columbia River Peace Corps Association

Friends of Niger

Museum of the
Peace Corps Experience
