        RPG
Member of a SE Portland based RPG group, meeting weekly on Thursday nights. The members of this group are: Dick Parker-Resnick, Dan Blair, John Funk and Kirk Huelshoff.
    • My current character in Dan's world is Pooper, a NE 6th level branded Priest and former Thief. I don't neccessarily endorse playing an evil character, but once in a while it is a nice break from the normal dungeon crawl.
    • My current characcter in Kirk's world Ro'gar Koboldcrusher, a CG 5th level cleric. He is an atypical 'friendly' dwarf.
If you are interested in live role-playing, give me a call or drop me an email. We are currently looking for players.

Daggerfall
I have been playing computer games for 10 years. My favorite, at this time, is Baldur's Gate 2. An older favorite is Daggerfall and the Might and Magic series. 1999's 'Game of the Year' is Baldur's Gate. It's great! I have converted my character, Angleiron, from Oearth, over to the Forgotten Realms setting. The 'Planescape' game and Neverwinter Nights only hold good things in store for any gamer out there.

       Strategy
IMHO, strategy games test the mettle of adversaries at a deeper level than any other type of game. My favorite strategy game of all time is Chess. I learned how to play in sixth grade and did not play for many years. I taught a friend how to play Backgammon in 1983. We soon were playing every night. He found a Backgammon set at the local store that also had a Chess board in it. Remembering my love of the game, I also taught that game to my friend. He soon learned the game, until we were pretty equal in strength. We decided to join a local club. After a year at the club, Richard (my friend) had only won two games and drawn one, while I had won none! Humbled, but not ready to give up, we obtained permission from our local library to use their facilities to start a club of our own. I played with the Woodburn Chess Club for four years before moving away. It was a wonderful experience.
    • I am currently not involved in any organized Chess.
    • But give me a call. I am willing to join!

Master
When Microprose came out with Master of Orion seven years ago, little did I know that I would still be playing the game today! I still use it to divert myself once in a while.
