"Science told: hands off gay sheep". I can't improve on the actual London Times headline. I would not have thought it possible that a story combining homosexuality, sheep, Martina Navratilova, Oregon State University, PETA, the Nazis, and Iran could also contain a those-beastly-Americans! angle, but that just goes to show how limited and wine-soaked my imagination is, I guess.

“It is typical of the US to ignore the global context in which this is taking place.”

I can just hear Dr. Schuklenk, in a Basil Fawlty-ish voice – Typical! Just typical! But maybe with a name like Schuklenk, at a Scottish U., he wouldn't sound much like Basil Fawlty at all.
