Heh. In greater Portland it's now between $1.75 and $1.92/gallon. Of course, the local jack-booted thugs don't allow us to pump our own, so that may affect the price. Anybody topped $2.00/gallon yet?
Well, there's some solace. I can be smug in my highly uncool, highly fuel-efficient, non-SUV, frugal-nerd mobile now.

Premium at the Chevron on Barbur Bl. near Capitol Hwy is over $2...regular is $1.92 as of this writing...

In the Seattle areas, some stations are charging more than $2 a gallon for premium. Doubt that makes you feel any better.

Around the chicago area, regular unleaded is hovering at $1.70.. still not too bad. In the city of chicago though, it's $1.99 + in some places, but that's just Daley and his taxes..
