The Head of the Dog Regatta
|
The Portland Boat Club is a group of dedicated rowers, scullers mostly, in Portland, Oregon. Up until 1994, we were the Portland Rowing Club, a revival of one of the oldest rowing clubs west of the Mississippi, but following a legal split from a houseboat moorage of that name, we are the Portland Boat Club. We offer our members the benefits of belonging to a competitive club. We offer camaraderie with a focus on improving sculling performance, as well as moorage for privately owned boats. The Portland Boat Club is a member club of USRowing. We are located on the Multnomah Channel, just south of the Sauvie Island Bridge. We now have space available in our boathouses for 1x's and 2x's! Click here to find out more about locating your boat alongside some of the best rowing water in the area. The Head of the Dog Regatta held each October is one of the highlights of the fall head racing season. We hope you'll join us for this fun race the first Sunday in October! Results from last year's event should be on RegattaCentral. Mailing address:
