Netscape 6 & 7 Configuration

These are the instructions for setting up the mail program Netscape 6 & 7 for use with SpiritOne.

1. When you first start Netscape 6 or 7, you will be prompted to set up a new account. If you are not prompted to create a new account, go to Tools, click on Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings, then hit the Add Account button.

2. On the first screen, choose ISP or email provider and hit Next.

3. For the type of incoming server, select POP.
4. In both Server Name fields, enter the relevant incoming and outgoing mail servers from the sidebar on the right.
5. Hit Next.

6. Enter your SpiritOne username in the User Name field, and hit Next.

7. In the Account Name field, enter SpiritOne.

8. Use this screen to double-check your settings.  If you see you've made a mistake, hit the Back button to correct the error.  Once you've done that, click on Finish.
9. That's it!  You can now use Netscape 6 & 7 to send and receive your SpiritOne email.  Netscape will prompt you for your password the first time you check your email.
