Welcome to the Oregon Topo Maps download page!
At present, the Oregon Topo Maps are available for Garmin
GPS units only, and in one of two versions. The MapSource
install is the most convenient, and requires a pre-existing MapSource
product (such as Trip and Waypoint Manager, MetroGuide, City Select,
etc.). Most people will want this version.
For those Garmin owners without a MapSource product, there
is also a standalone version, which comes with software
for transferring the maps to your GPS.
Be sure to read the License agreement.
MapSource Version
It may be necessary for you to upgrade MapSource, particularly if you
have a version prior to 4.0. Upgrade MapSource from Garmin's software update page.
To get your MapSource software version, go to "Help -> About
MapSource..." Note that MapSource versions differ from your mapping
product versions.
Minimum System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows
- An existing MapSource map product
- 8 MB of disk space
To use the maps, you'll need a Garmin mapping GPS. Best results will
come from color-capable units.
