Hi, my name is Darlene Jensen Brammer, my brother John E.Jensen was present during the atomic testing at Camp Desert Rock Nevada. I have emailed you before about him . He is listed on your site. His company was 3623 Ordinance Co. He witnessed 7 bomb tests. He was also a Korean war vet. He has since passed on at age 72 from heart failure. We all miss him so much. He was a kind and gentle person. I know the war changed him completely and caused him to have ptsd. He did have health problems associated with the exposure of the bombs. He never talked much about the war as it was a bad memory. He did have a visit before he died from one of the other vets. I don’t remember his name, but I’m so grateful he came. Before he passed he received the metal of honor for his part in the war.I know it did a lot to heal him. He had tears in his eyes when he showed it to me. Dear Keith,
My brother John E. Jensen is a Korean war veteran. He was in
3623 Ordinance Co. He was present during Atomic testing in 1951. He
witnessed 7 bombs. at Camp Desert Rock in Nevada. He enlisted in Oregon.
He states that he has had illness due to this. He would like to know if
he could get help with medical problems and would be interested in
communicating with others who are there. He doesn't have a computer and
shakes to much to write, so I volunteered to help him. I forgot to
mention he was a mechanic in the Army. Hope to hear from you.

Keith, Thanks for your reply. I will get together with my brother and see if
he will talk about it to me. He does have a stress factor also. So it may
not be to easy to get his story. We are interested in contacting Mr.
Campbell also. His story is on your site. He was a mechanic also in the same
ordinance as John. 3623. He doesn't have an email on his story. Could you
help us? Are you in Portland? We live in Warrenton. If you come down this
way sometime let me know and look us up if possible. Thanks again,
