I bought the camera on Midway when we were warned that a
tidal wave was coming. I had it all ready for a huge wave to swamp our
ship. I thought the wave was going to be like it is always shown in the
movies. Not so I'm afraid. The tide rose and flooded half of Midway but
there was nothing at sea.
